USC Trojans Football team will play Oregon State for homecoming this weekend on Saturday. The Trojans will try to get themselfs back to winning against the Beaver’s. Oregon State last year won a stunner Corvallis, Oregon last year. The Beavers has not won in the LA Colisuem since 1960.

October 31st, 2007 by USC Trojans Football once bright season has taken another tough lost to No.5 Oregon Ducks 24-17. USC Trojans is losing it grip as the Pac-10 Conference King and is completely knock-out the College Football (BCS) National title picture. The Trojans needs some major help from other teams and they (Trojans) needs to run the table and win every game if they hope to Defend their Pac-10 Con. title.
Oregon Ducks RB’s Jonathan Stewart ran for 103 yards and two touchdowns. The Ducks QB Dennis Dixon completed 16 0f 25 passes for 157 yards and ran for 76 yards and one touchdown. Oregon Dixon was the steady presence who led the ducks potent offense attack.
The Trojans once again did themselfs in by three turnovers one fumble and two interception. USC Trojans QB Mark Sanchez completed 26 of 41 passes for 277 yards and two touchdowns but the turnovers and misfires hurt USC chances in the game.
USC Trojans WR’s David Ausberry and Patrick Turner each caught a touchdown in the game.
This game mark the first time two Top-10 rank teams played at Oregon Ducks (Auztec) Stadium 41 year history the fans posted a sell-out crowd of 59,277.

April 30th, 2007 by USC Trojans Football Head Coach Pete Carroll have been the best Head Coach among Division I-A Football coach the past 6 years that right I said it just look at his winning percentage 65-12 (84.4%) in six years (2001-06). His losses has been by a total of 51 points an average of (4.3) points per lost. Coach Pete Carroll is 42-7 in Pac-10 conference games that give USC current mark of 85.7% winning percentage mark a league record. Carroll teams have won 56 of their last 60 games and been rank in the AP top 10 in their last 56 games. The trojans has won 24 games against over AP Top 25 teams (80.0%). Coach Pete Carroll tenure has produce an unprecedental 5 conesecutive Pac-10 conference championship, plus 4 straight AP Top 4 finish and 5 BCS Bowls Games. The Trojans also played in two consecutive BCS Championship games winning the 2005 championship against Oklahoma and losing in 2006 to Texas and shared the (2003 AP’s Polls championship with BCS LSU Tigers). USC last 5 years of 11 wins each represent the winningest periods in trojans history. Only three other schools produce similar results Florida State, Nebraska, and OKlahoma.
Coach Pete Carroll teams have a current Pac-10 conference record of winning 33 consecutive home games. USC was AP’s polls No. 1 team for a record 33 straight weeks, has gone 9-1 against rivals UCLA and Norte Dame. Under Carroll span USC is the first school to produce 3 Heisman Trophy winners in a four year span. The Heisman Trophy winners are Carson Palmer (2002), Reggie Bush (2005) and Matt Leinart (2004). USC Carroll has produce 29 first teams all-americans and 32 NFL Draft picks including 7 first rounders. His last five incoming recruiting class finish in the top 5 national ranking publication. Believe me their are a lot of great coaches and college football teams in the (Pac-10, SEC, Big Ten, Big East and other conference etc.), but no Coach have produce wins at one school the past six years like USC Trojans Football Coach Pete Carroll.
